Instead of having hope, I ask you to consciously take action: choose to hope. In my view, to have the noun, we need to do the verb. And our emotions are fluid by nature, so the feeling of having hope can come and go. But waiting for it to appear means you may be waiting a long time. We can have hope, it can be something that we possess. So what happens when we don’t hope?įirst, I want to point out that I’m focusing on the verb, not the noun. Verb: to cherish a desire with anticipation, to desire with expectation of obtainment or fulfillment. Noun: the expectation of fulfillment or success. Partly because there is a lot of content about a country that I don’t live in, but mostly because I am enjoying the feeling of having a place (the book) to go back to on a regular basis and get a reminder about the totally audacious act of hoping. You need to have the audacity to be great.I’ve been reading this book for the past few months. This made us realize that a lot of people do not reach their full potential because of fears that can be easily conquered and of course with us there to help them conquer their fear we might be opening a whole new level of boldness and a daring spirit amongst the young people.Īs we Journey this life now filled with much courage than before, I leave you with these words There are people with the fear of being in closed spaces ( claustrophobia) or the fear of balloons ( globophobia) or fear of clowns ( Coulrophobia). We thought we would encounter the same basic fear of snakes or fear of heights.
